“For I am convinced the neither death nor life, nor angels nor demons, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Romans 8:39

Prayer Transformation Team

"My house shall be called a house of prayer…." - Jesus

Today a growing number of churches are sensing a need to develop a broad-based prayer strategy covering every aspect of their ministry. As we reach the end of our human resources we discover that only with God's help can we successfully hold back the in-roads of evil in cities, communities, and culture. In addition, it is only through prayer-empowered ministry that we can penetrate Satan's kingdom of darkness and take possession of lives and territory for God.

ROL acknowledges that prayer is not well understood by Christians in general and not well utilized throughout the work of the church. People need to be equipped with information and experiential training to adequately support the work of the church in prayer. Those in ROL's prayer transformation team have taken on the responsibility of offering this training and we provide various venues for intercessory prayer, enlisting the congregation and supporting ROL's ministries through covering them in prayer.

ROL's prayer transformation team is developing and implementing a well-rounded prayer strategy. Are you interested in receiving such equipping; is intercession one of your passions? You can contact Phil St. Louis a long term elder at ROL and the co-leader of the Prayer Transformation Team. E-mail Phil at pstlouis@usfamily.net

"When Jesus stated that His house should be a "house of prayer" (Matthew 21:13) He was affirming a very basic reality about our relationship with God. He was declaring that intimacy with the Father was the core of all our interaction with God, and that prayer is our communications channel that informs us, encourages us, empowers us, directs us, protects us—and at the same time expresses our love for all God has done for us." - Steve Loopstra
